Cookie policy

This website uses only storage that is strictly necessary to make it work: your language choice, your sign-in session in the private portals, and short-lived technical state. We do not use analytics, advertising, profiling or social-media tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner — there is currently nothing optional to consent to.

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

The following items are set because the website cannot provide the function you asked for without them. Under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.

• Language preference (cookie tha_locale and matching browser storage): remembers whether you are reading the site in English or Danish, and whether you locked that choice yourself. Kept until you change it or clear your browser.
• Sign-in session (browser storage set by our authentication provider, in the Student, Trainer, Staff and Admin areas only): keeps you signed in between pages. Cleared when you sign out; with “Remember me” switched off it is discarded when you close the browser.
• Session-persistence marker: a small flag that records whether you asked to stay signed in on this device, so the session can be ended correctly if you did not.
• Security and abuse prevention: short-lived technical state used to protect forms and sign-in against automated abuse.

When you arrive without a saved preference, our server chooses a starting language using your browser's own language setting, the domain you are on (.com or .dk), and a country code supplied by the edge network in the request headers.

This happens on the server. It does not read or write anything in your browser, we do not store your IP address or location from it, and the country code is not attached to any enquiry, form submission or conversation. You can override the result at any time with the language switcher, or with ?lang=en / ?lang=da in the address.

None are in use. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags, heat-mapping or third-party social embeds that set cookies on this site.

Before any analytics or marketing technology is added, we will publish an updated policy, add a consent mechanism that is off by default, and keep such technology disabled until you actively accept it.

Enrolment and course access take place on thehypnoacademy.freshlearn.com, and payment pages are served by the platform's payment providers (currently Stripe and PayPal).

Those are separate systems on their own domains. When you follow a link to them, they may set their own cookies and storage for login, checkout and fraud prevention, governed by their own cookie and privacy notices. This policy covers only what happens on this website.

You can delete cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Removing the language cookie simply means the site chooses a language for you again; removing the session storage signs you out of the portals.

Blocking all storage will keep the public pages readable, but the private Student, Trainer, Staff and Admin areas cannot function without the sign-in session.
